Floating Wastewater Aeration Unit, 5 Horsepower

Motor: 5-hp, 3-phase, 60 hertz, industrial grade.

Pontoons: ¼-inch thick polyethylene shell, filled with closed-cell foam, UV protected.

Driveshaft/Air shaft: 1 ½-inch diameter, 316 stainless steel, ¼-inch wall thickness, 3.5 feet long as standard length.

Turbine: High density nylon impregnated with 30 % fiberglass for wear and corrosion.

Capacity: 36 liters/sec (76 cubic feet/minute) of air injection, transferring 4.7 pounds of oxygen per horsepower hour in processed water. (See report on oxygen transfer in Documentation.) Transfers up to 450 pounds of oxygen/unit/day.
